Diploma Course-
Clearly Making A Real Impact.
“As a primary school teacher with 20 years’ experience, the NDT Diploma is without a doubt the best professional decision I have made. The course has deepened my understanding of neurodevelopment and has had a hugely positive impact on my practice. Áine’s passion, enthusiasm, expertise, and energy for NDT are contagious. She is incredibly generous with her time and is always there to support her students. The learning environments she creates are both engaging and inspiring, and I have already learned so much. Áine’s team and the group of participants selected for the course are equally wonderful, adding greatly to the overall experience”

“I am currently undertaking the Diploma in Neurodevelopmental and Sensory-Informed Integration, and I’m genuinely delighted I made the decision to enrol. Having previously completed a course on Primitive Reflexes, I can confidently say that this diploma is significantly expanding and deepening my existing knowledge. What sets this course apart is its robust structure and the depth of practical, research-informed strategies it provides. It offers a clear understanding of not just what to do, but why we do it, which I believe is essential for any practitioner working with children with neurodevelopmental challenges. The course is packed with tools and techniques that I’ve already begun integrating into my clinic. It’s enhancing my ability to tailor support plans and interventions with greater clarity and confidence. The content is both evidence-based and accessible, and it has made a real difference in how I approach assessments and build movement-based programs for children. Beyond the professional development, I’m finding this diploma to be a powerful journey of self-development. It encourages reflection, helps us examine our own patterns as practitioners, and ultimately supports us in becoming more attuned, informed, and compassionate in our work. What I appreciate most is the balance between clinical application and personal insight. It equips you with the skills you need in practice, while also encouraging you to grow as a person.
This diploma is a game-changer for anyone serious about supporting children holistically. I highly recommend it” A.B. – Therapist, Galway.
I am currently undertaking the two-year Postgraduate Diploma in Sensory-Informed Neurodevelopmental Therapy with Áine at DFL Training. I am mammy to three young children and Deputy Principal and Special Education Co-ordinator of a medium-sized mainstream school.
To date, I have gained a deep insight into the many layers of the brain and their specific functions, how primitive reflexes—if not integrated—can manifest in the school setting and leave children struggling to keep up with their peers, and, most importantly for me, what I can do to support them.
I am now seeing children through a whole new lens, with a renewed understanding and appreciation of the different ages and stages of development, and the critical importance of movement from the very early days of life. This has been further enhanced through engagement with The Baby Project.
Áine is a fabulous tutor who provides in-depth knowledge in this field. The course is very well structured and incremental, and is thoughtfully layered with repetition, allowing learning to embed more deeply with each revisit. The supportive notes and videos, practical hands-on approach, small group setting, and excellent facilities make this an extremely enjoyable course and a journey I am very glad to have embarked upon.
I would highly recommend this course to anyone with an interest in gaining a deeper understanding of the importance and role of neurodevelopmental therapy in addressing the myriad challenges currently presenting in schools.

I am really enjoying my NDT training with developmental foundation for learning .Áine is a fantastic tutor .She is extremely knowledgable in the field of NDT and only 3 months in i have learned so much already and excited to see what I will know by the end of the year . Our weekend full days are great . This is the practical part of the course and it’s lovely to see everyone and go through all we had been talking about re Zoom and to practise our testing in a lovely environment . Delighted I joined as it has helped me as an SNA in my class to understand and support the children I work with better through all I have learned so far .
